Russell Henley sits atop the leaderboard at the CJ Cup through three rounds of play.
The leader shot a 5-under 67 on Saturday, improving to 15-under for the tournament and taking a three-shot lead into Sunday.
Xander Schauffele, who led the event after Round 2, fired a 2-over 74 in the third round and slid to 12-under overall. As a result, he fell into a four-way tie for second place with Lanto Griffin, Talor Gooch, and Jason Kokrak.
Jason Day moved to 10-under for the tournament and matched Griffin’s 6-under Saturday. Day tied Griffin for the second-best score of the round along with Rory McIlroy and Ryan Palmer, while Bubba Watson‘s 7-under par was Saturday’s best mark.
McIroy sits at 8-under overall, as does Watson. Palmer is at 6-under through three rounds.
