Designed to disrupt the command, video, and navigation of commercial drones, drone jammers continue to improve. Paladyne’s latest effort shows increasing promise, manufactured by Drone Defence. The E1000MP uses an electromagnetic signal that matches the frequency of its target to demobilize it so that it either lands or returns to home base. The new pistol features a disruption range of up to 0.6 miles, is IP56 waterproof, runs for two hours per four-hour charge of its battery, and can be used with either a directional or omnidirectional antenna.
