caterina moretti, the head designer and director of peca studio, describes this project as ‘exploration personified’. using just a chisel and hammer, the tables have been crafted from the raw material, leaving the texture of the volcanic rock beautifully exposed. the final tables come in two different widths and heights and join the ‘loto’ family of furniture.
with their rough, exposed texture, the tables serve as a focal point for both indoor and outdoor spaces. their minimal design makes the pieces suitable for a variety of environments and allows them to provoke different sensations, whether viewed in the warm sun or peeking through the leaves of a garden.
