The scene, which was shot in Liverpool’s St George Hall yesterday (12 October), looked to be set in the aftermath of a funeral.
Farrell, who made headlines last month when he debuted his transformation into The Penguin, looked unrecognisable as the villainous Oswald Cobblepot.
The 44-year-old wore a black leather coat over his suit and tie, donning facial prosthetics and a fake receding hairline.
Kravitz also made an appearance as Selina Kyle (also known as Catwoman), wearing a black trench coat, matching headpiece, fishnet tights and knee-high boots.
Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne was seen stepping out of a black Corvette. Fans also spotted a body double wearing a face mask seated inside the car.
It was confirmed in late September that filming had restarted, with Pattinson having tested negative for the illness.
Filming on The Batman was previously suspended for six months amid the first outbreak of Covid-19 worldwide.
