The highly anticipated 12th season of NCIS: Los Angeles was put on hold earlier this year with the outbreak of coronavirus. Thankfully, it was recently confirmed on Instagram that the series would be back on CBS in under a month, and fans are thrilled to see their favourite characters return.
Back in April this year, the latest season of thrilling action spin-off NCIS: Los Angeles was cut short by problems surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.
At the height of the worldwide lockdown, the cast and crew were unable to finish work on season 12, leaving NCIS: LA’s latest run two episodes short.
CBS was quick to assure fans the series would eventually return despite the pandemic.
Now, Marty Deeks star Eric Christian Olsen has got fans hyped for the new season with a new post on Instagram.
His update featured the first official poster for the new season, along with a tantalising caption teasing what’s to come.
Olsen sent fans into meltdown when he commented: “Word on the street is we’re bringing Sexy Back.”
The star has already sent his followers into fits of hysteria with some shirtless pics revealing the sensational results of his lockdown fitness regime.
Fans now have even more reason to be excited, as Marty Deeks is confirmed to be returning to screens on Sunday, November 8.
The latest season was cut short back in April, 26, and the upcoming episodes are expected to continue the story that left viewers on the edge of their seat earlier this year.
In the de facto season finale, Callen (played by Chris O’Donnell), Hanna (LL Cool J) and new recruit Devin Roundtree (Caleb Castille) travelled to Afghanistan to deal with a sensitive case.
The team faced off against tyrannical Navy chief Argento (Juan Riedinger), who implied his connections in Washington D.C. would help him avoid a prison sentence.
Current showrunner R. Scott Gemmill revealed to TV Line Argento would be playing a major part in the upcoming run of NCIS: LA.
