The car was built on November 3, 1963, and was loaned by Bill Golightly to the presidential convoy as an official vehicle, and was named “Limo One”, denoting its importance. The car was to transport JFK and his wife during their time in Fort Worth. This was the last car JFK drove in before stepping into the SS-100-X, the official presidential car at the time, and the same one that would take him to Dealey Plaza. The Lincoln on sale was restored by Lincoln specialist Baker Restoration of Putnam, Connecticut, and has received a new engine, a respray, and a brand new red leather interior.
