CarsDirect managed to obtain early pricing information for the 2021 Veloster N and it appears it’ll begin at $33,245, including the $995 destination charge. Compared to last year, this is a $4,670 increase. Those who want the optional DCT will be asked to fork over an additional $1,500, bringing the price to at least $34,745. Now, before potential buyers start raising a fit, there are a few facts they must realize. First off, the $2,100 Performance Package is now standard, meaning every Veloster N has a total of 275 horsepower from the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four instead of 250 hp.
Other newly standard items include 19-inch wheels, a limited-slip differential, and bigger brakes. Automatic emergency braking is also now standard and it wasn’t even offered last year.
