Vacationing has become a bit difficult in the Covid era. Here in the US, you can still fly, but American citizens are still barred from traveling to Canada or visiting the European Union due to a relatively high case count. That still leaves plenty of other places to go, but why spend so much on air travel when so many bars, restaurants, and live event venues are still either closed completely, or open only with tight restrictions.
As a result, sales of RVs are booming in the US as Americans find ways to vacation that don’t include hopping on a plane and flying into population-dense areas, reaching a 40-year peak of 43,035 unit sales in July, according to the RV Industry Association. Now, Ford is cashing in.
