The exterior, on the other hand, was custom-designed in-house by Bo Zolland Design. Not many details were provided, but the design renderings show the car is fitted with GT3 racing-inspired components including a front splitter, massive wheel arches, an aggressive rear diffuser, a gigantic rear wing, and even a fire spitting side exhaust.
When the project is complete, the client who commissioned the car intends to use it as a track day car. It will be raced in a South African racing series as well as time attacks in Europe and the US. It’s unclear how much they paid for this build project, but the Corvette ZR1 would have originally cost over $120,000. Development is still underway, but we can’t wait to see the finished project.
